I love to teach! I spent 34 years as a music educator at all levels from elementary to university. Nothing is more satisfying than seeing the light come on in students' eyes when they grasp a concept. I love seeing the excitement that learning can bring, and this in turn  renews my love of photography

I've taken several photography workshops myself, and sometimes, due to class size, I've felt left out, or underwhelmed by the level (or lack thereof) of instruction. Additionally, some of my fellow participants expressed being a bit intimidated when comparing their skills with others in the class.

In my own classes I limit  enrollment to six students, and block out time for individual instruction. Even so, it's hard to fully address each photographer's skill level in a class setting.

The solution? Private instruction. Not only will your specific skill set be addressed, but, unlike classes, date and location are set to accomodate you. In addition, given the amount of time dedicated to you, you will find that the cost may actually be less than a class. You may even find someone of your skill level to share the time with you.
